Ad makes 'roof' jibe during Poland vs. England - picture

Cheeky ads for "a roof that closes in 19 seconds" are visible in the game between Poland and England.

Adverts boasting about "a roof that can close in 19 seconds" were on display during England's 1-1 draw with Poland tonight.

Roof jibe

The adverts, promoting the new Cascada convertible car, were hastily commissioned overnight after yesterday's World Cup qualifier was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Polish FA has come under fire for failing to close the roof at the National Stadium in Warsaw yesterday, despite knowing that a downpour was on the way. Drenched fans were also subjected to lengthy delays in the stadium while officials debated how to handle the situation.

Wayne Rooney's first-half opener was cancelled out by a header from defender Kamil Glik in the rearranged fixture, which finally got underway at 4pm today.
