Wembley Stadium announce six-year partnership with EE

Wembley Stadium announce a six-year partnership with mobile network operator EE.

Wembley Stadium and mobile network operator EE have joined forces by signing a six-year partnership.

This is the first time that the iconic English stadium has signed a lead brand partner, and both parties are hoping that they can "make Wembley the most connected stadium in the world".

The deal will introduce new features over the course of the partnership, one of which will be a free mobile phone app, which will allow Wembley visitors to access news on events, travel and stadium information.

Wembley chairman Melvin Benn said: "We have been looking for the right partner to help us make sure that Wembley maintains its reputation for being one of the best sport and entertainment venues on the planet.

"As stadia around the world become increasingly more technologically advanced, EE is the perfect partner to assist us in fulfilling that goal, giving event owners and their fans the best possible and unforgettable shared experiences."

EE will also become a supplier to the England men's senior team and the FA Cup.
