Andrew Flintoff teams up with Sky for rainforest documentary

Former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff cycles through the Amazon Rainforest as part of a Sky documentary.

Former England cricketer Andrew Flintoff has embarked on a journey through the Amazon Rainforest as part of a Sky 1 two-part documentary.

The 35-year-old took on a cycling challenge alongside journalist and cyclist Rob Penn to raise awareness of the dangers that threaten the rainforest.

"My daughter's passion for saving the rainforest combined with a hardcore physical test was too good an offer to turn down," said Flintoff.

"Cycling the Amazon Rainforest was a tough challenge but I hope what Rob and I have done can make a small difference and help raise awareness of the need to protect this amazing place."

Flintoff's Road Through The Rainforest was created as part of the Sky Rainforest Rescue campaign.
