One Direction's Louis Tomlinson completes Doncaster Rovers takeover

1D singer completes Doncaster takeover

Doncaster Rovers have confirmed that Louis Tomlinson has completed his takeover at the club, alongside former chairman John Ryan.

The One Direction singer is a lifelong fan of the club, having worked as a waiter for the team as a teenager before playing for their reserves last season.

A spokesman for Ryan told PA this morning that the deal is now complete.

Doncaster were relegated from the Championship on the final day of the 2013-14 season.
