Kids think Jesus Christ plays for Chelsea

A new study has discovered that one in five children thinks that Jesus Christ is a footballer who plays for Chelsea.

In the run-up to Christmas, London shopping centre Brent Cross carried out a questionnaire on 1,000 children, with one of the questions being: 'Who is Jesus Christ?'

The multiple choice question carried answers included a footballer for Chelsea, son of God, TV presenter, The X Factor contestant or an astronaut.

According to The Mirror, 20% of the children asked thought that Jesus Christ represented one of the Premier League's elite clubs at Stamford Bridge.
