Chelsea face the prospect of playing their home matches elsewhere for at least two seasons should they get the go-ahead to redevelop Stamford Bridge, according to a report.
The Blues are expected to reveal proposals to locals outlining their plans to turn the West London ground into a 60,000-seater venue later this month.
Although it could still be a long way off, The Guardian claims that the £500m project will force Chelsea to find a new temporary home, with nearby Twickenham and Wembley both viable options.
Chelsea, who lifted last year's Premier League title, have played at Stamford Bridge for the past 110 years.
