Michael Jordan's wife Yvette gives birth to twin daughters

NBA legend Michael Jordan has welcomed identical twin daughters into his family after his wife Yvette gave birth on Sunday night.

The 35-year-old and her husband, who married Yvette in April last year, named their daughters Victoria and Ysabel after they were born in West Palm Beach, Florida.

"Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival," Jordan's spokeswoman Estee Portnoy told The AP.

Jordan, who is the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, already has two sons and a daughter.
