Crowd trouble mars Under-17s Celtic, Rangers cup final

Crowd trouble mars the Under-17s Glasgow Cup final match between Celtic and Rangers.

Incidents in the crowd overshadowed Celtic's victory over rivals Rangers in the Under-17s Glasgow Cup final.

Over 8,000 supporters watched the match at Celtic Park, but a large number from both sides let off flares and smoke bombs in the main stand.

According to the Daily Mail, members of the media were offered seats in the directors' box at half time as they were concerned for their safety.

A number of seats were also ripped out, while police officers were forced to calm scenes during the encounter.
