Jurgen Klopp auctions off signed rug for cancer charity

Jurgen Klopp has listed a signed rug on online auction site eBay to raise money for a cancer charity.

The recently-departed Borussia Dortmund manager was given the item, bearing a caricature of himself in the club's colours, as a leaving gift when he came to the end of his spell at the Bundesliga side.

The 47-year-old told Ruhr Nachrichten: "The carpet is class. But as I have to see myself often enough, he'll get even more valuable when we get some more through the auction and put the proceeds toward cancer charity."

So far, the auction, which ends on Sunday, has attracted 46 bids, with the highest standing at €5,250 (£3,853).
