Barcelona stars Andres Iniesta, Cesc Fabregas, Carles Puyol and Xavi were all in attendance for the funeral of former Spain manager Luis Aragones on Sunday.
The 75-year-old died in hospital on Saturday morning after he was taken ill.
The Daily Mail has published photographs of the Barcelona quartet in dark clothing among the mourners in Madrid over the weekend.
Aragones, who had coaching stints at Barca and Atletico Madrid, guided Spain to glory in the 2008 European Championships.
