Girlfriend of Australian cricketer David Warner confirms pregnancy

Australian cricketer David Warner and his girlfriend Candice Falzon have confirmed that they are expecting their first child.

The couple, who began dating last August, have also confirmed that they are newly engaged after Warner proposed during the Aussies' tour of South Africa.

Falzon has also revealed that she fell pregnant during Australia's 5-0 victory over England in The Ashes series Down Under.

"I can't wait to become David's wife and have a beautiful family together," Falzon told New Idea.

"This is an Ashes baby. The [other WAGs] always say that one girl falls pregnant per tour so we are keeping that tradition alive at the moment!"

Warner added: "It was after the first try. We couldn't believe it!"

The baby is due in September.
