Aston Villa quiet on Jack Grealish's alleged 'laughing gas' incident

Villa quiet on Grealish 'laughing gas' incident

Aston Villa have reportedly refused to comment on pictures allegedly showing Jack Grealish inhaling 'laughing gas'.

Overnight, The Sun published an image appearing to show the 19-year-old taking in nitrous oxide, which is regarded as a legal high, through a balloon.

After the story emerged, Villa were asked for comment, but according to BBC Sport, the Premier League club are refusing to do so.

The story comes just weeks after West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino and Liverpool star Raheem Sterling were pictured allegedly performing the same act in separate incidents.

Grealish has fought his way into the first team at Villa Park this season and received praise for his performance in last weekend's 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
