Arsenal's Theo Walcott becomes father to baby boy

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has announced that his wife Mel gave birth to a baby boy this morning.

The England international took to social networking site Facebook to express his delight at becoming a father to baby Finley.

Walcott wrote: "So over the moon to announce the birth of our baby boy Finley born this morning.... It's amazing to be mummy & daddy! Love him so much x"

The 25-year-old has been out of action since January after he suffered a knee injury, which has ruled him out of this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
