Arsenal's Mesut Ozil "glad" when singing initiation was over

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has revealed his relief when his initiation song at the Emirates Stadium was over.

The German international was forced to sing in front of his teammates to mark his arrival at the club following a deadline day switch from Real Madrid.

"When I sing, I do not like my voice," Ozil told DFB.de. "I do not think my colleagues understood what I sung, but I was glad that that is behind me.

"I must admit that there is still a little hitch with my English because I definitely have to work on it."

The Gunners are currently at the top of the Premier League table.
