Mo Farah hopes that his Olympic success might lead to a future fitness coach role at Arsenal.

Mo Farah has called on Arsene Wenger to hand him a fitness coach role at Arsenal after he retires from athletics.

The double Olympic champion, a staunch Arsenal fan, believes that he could help improve the fitness of Wenger's players.

The 29-year-old told The Metro: "I don't think I'd be any good at playing, but I'd like to help out at the Gunners for sure.

"I was talking to my wife the other day and I said, 'I'd make a good fitness coach for the team or something.

"I could try to help players if they were injured or going through hard times, be able to do little things with them."

Farah once trained with the Arsenal squad after being invited to their training ground by Wenger.
