Geva Mentor: 'Rotation is key to medal success'

Geva Mentor says that 'keeping fresh' is the key to Team England's medal hopes in the netball event at the Commonwealth Games.

Team England goalkeeper Geva Mentor has acknowledged the importance of rotating the side in pursuit of a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

Anna Mayes's side made light work of Trinidad and Tobago earlier today to record a 70-24 victory, which keeps them on track for progression from the pool stage.

"We used a good amount of players in that game and it is good that everyone gets a run," the 29-year-old told reporters. "We play Barbados next and we'd expect everyone to get a run out again.

"It is good that we can do that. It keeps everyone fresh and it is good that we are building momentum as we look towards the later stages of the tournament."

Jo Harten contributed 35 points for England in today's win at the Emirates Arena.
