Zolnir wins gold in women's judo final

Slovenia's Urska Zolnir as won gold in the women's -63kg judo final.

In a closely-fought contest that went the distance in regulation time, Zolnir beat her Japenense opponent Lili Xu by a waza-ari to secure her country's first medal of London 2012.

Japan's Yoshie Ueno won the first bronze medal on offer after she defeated Mongolia's Munkhzaya Tsedevsuren.

France's Gevrise Emane was awarded the second bronze medal by the judges after her fight with South Korea's Da-Woon Joung could not be decided in regulation time or via a golden score.
