Cuba's Idalys Ortiz has won gold in the women's +78kg heavyweight judo final.
Ortiz beat double world champion Mika Sugimoto through a judges' decision after neither fighter managed to score.
The 22-year-old Ortiz knocked out bronze medallist Tong Wen in the semi-finals.
Ortiz's gold represents the first time the judo medal has been won by neither a Chinese or Japanese competitor.
