Yeates-Brown, Pitman take bronze apiece

England pair Katie Yeats-Brown and Faith Pitman have each won bronze in the women's -63kg event at the Commonwealth Games.

Teenager Yeats-Brown picked up the first judo medal of the evening by beating Canada's Beatrice Valois, while Pitman managed to overcome Katharina Haecker of Australia moments later.

Gold was taken by Scotland's Sarah Clark to the joy of home fans, after she made opponent Helene Wezeu Dombeu give up in their encounter.

Clark, 36, has competed in three Olympic Games.
