Scots on verge of historic medal

Scotland are on the verge of a historic medal in the men's artistic team gymnastics at the Commonwealth Games.

The host nation are currently second behind England, with many of the rest of their competitors having finished all of their events ahead of tonight's conclusion. Since 1978, only England, Australia and Canada have got on the podium in this event, but Scotland's quintet of Dan Keatings, Dan Purvis, Frank Baines, Adam Cox and Liam Davie could soon win their country's first ever gymnastics medals at the Games.

Australia and Canada are third and fourth respectively in the standings, with Wales and New Zealand behind them.
