Every US PGA Championship winner as Aaron Rai wins at Aronimink

US PGA Championship: Past winners

Aaron Rai has become the latest Englishman to win a major with victory at the 2026 US PGA Championship.

The 31-year-old defied being one of the shorter hitters in the tournament to record a famous three-shot victory at Aronimink.

Not only did the Wolverhampton-born player hole a near-miraculous 68-foot putt on the 17th hole of his final round to move him to the brink of victory, he ended a 107-year wait for another English winner at this tournament.

With his second victory in the United States and fifth as a professional, Rai has moved into 15th position in the World Golf Rankings, a career-high.

Rai becomes just the seventh different winner of the US PGA Championship since 2017, a consequence of Brooks Koepka prevailing on three occasions and Justin Thomas securing two Wanamaker trophies.

Here, Sports Mole provides a list of all the previous winners of the US PGA Championship.
