Lotus, Renault to change names

Team Lotus and Renault are to change their names for the start of the next Formula One season.

Renault, who are sponsored by the Lotus car company, will change the name of their cars to Lotus next term.

Meanwhile, Team Lotus will alter their name to the cars that they will be using, Caterhams.

The name changes relate to the labelling of the cars' chassis and are expected to be formally ratified at next month's FIA World Council meeting.
