Formula 1 bosses have opted to make no changes to the calendar for 2012, despite doubts regarding races in the United States of America and Bahrain.
The US organisers have been given a deadline of this week to raise the money to pay a sanctioning fee.
Meanwhile, safety concerns have been voiced over a race in Bahrain because of continuing civil unrest in the country.
Despite the issues, both countries have been handed a slot in the 20-race schedule, which begins in March.
