Nico Hulkenberg has signed a two-year contract extension with Force India.
The German, 28, returned to the team last year following an initial spell between 2011 and 2012.
Hulkenberg, who had been linked with the new Haas outfit, finished last season in ninth place in the rankings.
"I'm very pleased to finalise and announce my plans for the future," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"I know this team inside out and I feel at home here so it made perfect sense to make a long-term commitment. The progress the team has shown over the last two years has really impressed me and gives me confidence for the future."
Hulkenberg has entered 88 Grand Prix for Force India.
