Vijay Mallya: 'Issue has been rectified'

Force India team boss Vijay Mallya is confident that the wheelnut problems that hampered their drivers in the Malaysian Grand Prix have been rectified.

Force India team boss Vijay Mallya is hopeful that the wheelnut problems that hampered their drivers in the Malaysian Grand Prix have been rectified.

Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil were both forced to retire due to the problems, but Mallya has insisted that they will not have a repeat in China.

"We were confident of bringing both cars home in the points until the wheelnut issue let us down," Mallya told reporters at a press conference.

"We've had three weeks to understand what went wrong and have worked hard fix the root cause of the problem."

The Chinese Grand Prix takes place this weekend.
