Paul di Resta says that he is looking forward to the Bahrain Grand Prix this Sunday.

Force India racer Paul di Resta has expressed his excitement ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix this Sunday.

Last year, the Scot deployed a two-stop strategy to claim an impressive sixth-placed finish.

Off the back of a ninth-placed finish in China, Di Resta is hoping that he can improve on that ending at the weekend.

"I'm looking forward to it. We're back in the hot weather and we were strong in the heat of Malaysia so there are no real worries," Di Resta told Sky Sports News.

"Last year the car worked well in Bahrain, which gives us confidence heading into the weekend. We've got a few things to understand and I think we can go forward a bit more.

"We're back to the medium and hard, the same as we had in Malaysia, where we were strong."

Following the Chinese Grand Prix, Di Resta's teammate Adrian Sutil admitted that the duo had no problems after their collision.
