Hamilton happy in Brazil

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton has said that he is happy with his car ahead of today's qualifying and Sunday's final race of the year in Brazil.

The Englishman topped Friday's practice session ahead of Red Bull pair Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber with a time of 1:13.392, 0.167 ahead of the German.

"The car felt really good today - on both high and low fuel. And degradation on the new Option tyre seems pretty acceptable; I was still doing decent times at the end of my run," said the 2008 world champion, who will be hoping for a second consecutive victory after his triumph in Abu Dhabi two weeks ago.

"I think there's still a bit more to come, but we're looking strong for the rest of the weekend."

Hamilton's teammate Jenson Button ended the session at Interlagos in Sao Paulo with the seventh fastest time.

Although this year's title has already gone to Vettel, Button is in pole position to claim second as he starts this weekend ten clear of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso while Aussie Webber is a further 12 back.
