Hunt disappointed by lack of game time

Wolfsburg midfielder Aaron Hunt has admitted that he is disappointed by his lack of game time so far this season.

The 28-year-old has started just twice in the Bundesliga, and is baffled by manager Dieter Hecking's decision to exclude him from the first XI.

"I do not understand the decision, but I do not have to understand," he told the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung. "It is the manager who picks the team, and I have to accept and respect that decision.

"Even though it's tough, I do not regret the transfer [from Bremen to Wolfsburg]. I am not playing much actually of course, but I cannot blame myself.

"I am doing fine in training and when I am getting the time to play, I am quite decent. All I can do is train well. The manager will pick the team."

Wolfsburg drew 1-1 with French side Lille in the Europa League this evening.
