Chris Wood joins Millwall on loan

West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood has joined Championship side Millwall on a two-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Birmingham City, could make his debut for the club in Tuesday's clash with Cardiff City.

"I'm not in the first-team picture at West Brom, so I'm dying to start playing regular first-team football again," he told Millwall's official website.

"In January I will give some thought to my longer-term future, but for now I'm just looking forward to playing for Millwall and hopefully scoring some goals."

Wood joined West Brom from Hamilton Wanderers in 2008.
