Camp signs for Bournemouth until June 2016

AFC Bournemouth have completed the signing of former West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Lee Camp on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Camp became a free agent on New Year's Day following the expiration of his short-term contract with West Brom, for whom he failed to make a single first-team appearance.

The 29-year-old had been on loan at Bournemouth since October, featuring in 11 Championship games for the Cherries. "I am pleased everything has been sorted and I am delighted to have signed," Camp told Bournemouth's official website. "Discussions have been ongoing for the past couple of weeks but we have come to a pretty speedy conclusion in the end, so credit must go to the football club for how they have handled it."

Camp did not sign in time to feature in today's FA Cup match against Burton Albion.
