West Bromwich Albion beaten by Red Bull Salzburg

West Bromwich Albion's pre-season schedule has started with a 3-1 defeat to Red Bull Salzburg in Austria.

The home side took the lead with 33 minutes on the clock when Marco Djuricin fired in from 20 yards.

Salzburg's advantage was doubled just six minutes later as Jonathan Soriano powered into the box before shooting past Boaz Myhill.

It was 3-0 on 65 minutes when Takumi Minamino found the bottom corner from 25 yards, but the Baggies netted a consolation soon after through Adil Rami's instinctive finish from close range.
