West Bromwich Albion defender Steven Reid has revealed that he hopes to return from injury in time for pre-season training.
The 31-year-old missed the remainder of the Baggies' Premier League campaign after he injured his ankle at the start of March.
"I'm in this week and next week to do some rehab and then hopefully after next week I'll be able to get away on holiday, where I'll be looking to have a rest," he told Sky Sports News.
"I'll then do some more rehab when I get back and then hopefully I'll be up and running for the first week of pre-season in July.
"Come the summertime it's nice to get the holidays out the way, but it can become a bit boring when there's no football going on."
Reid officially moved to West Brom from Blackburn Rovers in July 2010 following a loan spell at the Hawthorns.
