Boaz Myhill has described himself as being "in awe" of West Bromwich Albion teammate Ben Foster.
The goalkeeper was named on the bench for England's 8-0 win against San Marino this evening, having recently come out of international retirement.
Myhill told the Baggies' website: "I remember when I was younger as an apprentice and I first started training with some of the senior goalies, I was in awe of some of the things they did. It's the same with Ben really.
"Some days you see him do things you think just aren't possible, and for someone who performs to such a high level, he is so modest and a good guy to be around.
"It's good to see things like that, work with him and bounce off him. You look at the league and some of the different goalies. Some of them are not so good at things and strong at others. Ben seems to be strong at everything across the board."
Foster has helped West Brom to seven clean sheets in the Premier League this season.
