Slaven Bilic: 'We should have scored more during West Bromwich Albion draw'

West Ham United coach Slaven Bilic admits that his side had enough chances to beat West Bromwich Albion after being held to a 1-1 draw by the Baggies.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has criticised the team's finishing following the club's 1-1 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion.

The Hammers had moved into an early lead against the Baggies through Mauro Zarate, but the visitors were able to earn a point on their travels following an equaliser when United defender Winston Reid put into his own net.

"It's a fair result over 90 minutes, they deserved something from the second half - but in the first half we should have been more than 1-0 up," said Bilic, according to BT Sport.

"After the goal until the end of the first half we created three or four chances, and their keeper made some great saves.

"At half time we were pleased with the way we had played. But by four o'clock I was not pleased with the result."

Bilic's West Ham currently hold eighth position in the Premier League standings.
