French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano has said that he and West Bromwich Albion share the same 'footballing philosophy'.
The 28-year-old has joined the Baggies on a season-long loan deal from Marseille and could make his first Premier League start against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
"I am happy to come to England and I am also happy to begin a new challenge," he told the club's official website.
"West Brom is a very good team that plays good football - which is very important for me. I think the team has the same football philosophy as me."
Amalfitano, capped once by Les Bleus, is the elder brother of Newcastle United midfielder Romain Amalfitano.
