Report: Tottenham Hotspur launch bid for Lyon's Clinton Njie

Lyon striker Clinton Njie is the subject of a £7m bid from Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports.

The 21-year-old broke into the Lyon side last season and scored eight goals in 33 Ligue 1 appearances.

His form has caught the eye of Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who has approved a £7m move for the Cameroon international, reports the Daily Star.

Njie has six goals in 11 games for his country, including a goal on his debut against DR Congo last September.
