Tim Sherwood to walk out before sacking?

Tim Sherwood is reportedly planning to leave Tottenham Hotspur after reports claimed on Monday that he had been told he would be sacked at the end of the season by the club's hierarchy.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood is reportedly preparing to quit the club before he is relieved of his duties at the end of the season.

Sky Sports News reported on Monday that the Spurs boss had been told by the club's hierarchy that he would be sacked at the campaign's end.

However, according to The Mirror, Sherwood is planning to walk out before he is pushed, after telling friends that he has no intention of staying on if he is not wanted for next season.

Meanwhile, speaking after their 5-1 hammering of Sunderland on Monday night, striker Emmanuel Adebayor revealed that he wants his boss to stay.
