Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal

Tottenham injury, suspension list vs. Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur will endeavour to leapfrog bitter rivals and Premier League leaders Arsenal when the two sides do battle in Saturday's North London derby at the Emirates Stadium.

Antonio Conte's side went into the international break on the back of a 6-2 thrashing of Leicester City, during which Son Heung-min scored a 13-minute hat-trick alongside efforts from Rodrigo Bentancur, Harry Kane and Eric Dier.

The Lilywhites occupy third place in the table with 17 points to their name - one adrift of Arsenal and below Manchester City on goal difference - and they would temporarily go top of the rankings with victory at the Emirates.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Arsenal, who defeated Brentford 3-0 last time out.

Dejan Kulusevski

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Hamstring Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Arsenal)

Dejan Kulusevski reportedly returned from international duty with Sweden nursing a hamstring injury, and the Juventus loanee is a major doubt for the trip to the Emirates.

Lucas Moura

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Tendon inflammation Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Arsenal)

Lucas Moura has missed Tottenham's last six games in all competitions due to a tendon problem, but Conte was hopeful that the Brazilian would be available for the North London derby prior to the international break.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Arsenal)

Concern was raised over Hugo Lloris after the Tottenham number one pulled out of France's Nations League games with a thigh injury, although the issue was described as a "small" one, so he could be ready to return at the Emirates.

Ben Davies

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: October 1 (vs. Arsenal)

Ben Davies missed Spurs' win over Leicester prior to the international break with a knee problem he sustained in the Champions League loss to Sporting Lisbon - the Wales international was not available for the Nations League but may be given the green light for the weekend.

TOTTENHAM'S SUSPENSION LIST

Tottenham have no players suspended for this match.
