Harry Kane: 'Tottenham Hotspur can challenge the top four'

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane claims that the team are showing that they are good enough to challenge for a top-four place.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has stated that the team are showing that they are good enough to challenge for a top-four place.

Kane scored as Mauricio Pochettino's side made it 11 Premier League games unbeaten on Sunday with their 1-1 draw against rivals Arsenal in the North London derby.

Spurs are now five points behind Arsenal and Manchester City, who are joint-top of the standings, and Kane is confident that the team can continue their run.

"It shows that we can be up there with the big teams," Kane told Sky Sports News.

"We probably deserved to win against Liverpool, we beat Manchester City and probably maybe deserved to win at Arsenal as well. We're not just drawing where we're hanging on, we're drawing where we're playing very well and there are chances we could be winning these games.

"We've just got to keep doing what we're doing - there's a lot of games still left to play. We're now into the international break and when we come back it's two more London derbies."

Spurs face West Ham United and Chelsea after the international break.
