Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has insisted that he can live up to the responsibility of being the club's only senior centre-forward.
The England man has now gone five games without a goal for Spurs this season after failing to find the back of the net as they won 1-0 at Sunderland on Sunday.
Kane netted 31 times for the North Londoners last season and the 22-year-old has said that he is keen to replicate that kind of form again this term.
"We have a lot of games coming up and I'm happy to play every game," Kane told the London Evening Standard.
"I am fit and I'm ready to go. I will play as much as the manager wants me to play. It's up to him and what he sees in his squad, but I'm ready to go.
"Any striker wants to be scoring so it was great to go away with England and get the two goals. We've got a lot of games coming up in the Europa League and we play Arsenal in the Capital One Cup. So there are plenty of matches ahead of us and hopefully I can get on the scoresheet for Spurs as soon as possible."
Kane scored two goals in two games for England last week.
