Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has suggested that Manchester City are there for the taking when the sides face off at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Citizens will be desperate to respond following three defeats on the spin that have taken the gloss off an otherwise impressive campaign.
Liverpool provided the perfect blueprint for how to beat City, having now done so three times this calendar year, but Alli insists that Spurs will do things their own way in search of another huge victory.
"Of course [the way Liverpool played] can work," he told the London Evening Standard. "City are only human, so they can make mistakes. They are an incredible team with incredible players all over the pitch but we are going to try to play our football as we always do.
"When you play against the other teams in the top six, as opposed to the teams in the bottom half, the game is very different. The other top-six sides really go at it, both teams want to win and there is a lot more space on the pitch. There is a lot more attacking play.
"Teams in the bottom half still want to hurt you and they have a lot of quality, but they are always more likely to sit deep and close the gaps between the lines. As a No.10, that makes it much more difficult to get on the ball and create chances."
Man City have lost their last two games away to Tottenham, conceding six and scoring just once.
