How Tottenham could line up against Palace

Tottenham Hotspur head to Crystal Palace in round four of the FA Cup, aiming to avoid exiting a second competition in the space of three days.

The Lilywhites were beaten on penalties by Chelsea in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup on Thursday evening and must now prepare themselves for a second London derby in quick succession.

Mauricio Pochettino's squad looks as threadbare as ever, with a couple more players leaving the field injured in midweek, so the Spurs boss is restricted in the number of changes that he can afford to make.

Ahead of Sunday's match at Selhurst Park, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up.

Out: Dele Alli (hamstring), Harry Kane (ankle), Son Heung-min (international duty) Doubtful: Ben Davies (groin), Moussa Sissoko (knee), Victor Wanyama (knee)

On top of already being without star trio Alli, Kane and Son, Pochettino also lost Davies and Sissoko to injuries on Thursday.

Both men are expected to miss out on this trip to South London, so Danny Rose is in line for a return at left-back and Christian Eriksen may have to shuffle back into a central midfield berth.

Fernando Llorente looks certain to start a third match running in the absence of Kane and forgotten striker Vincent Janssen, but there could be a first start in three weeks for Lucas Moura alongside him, while fellow versatile forward Erik Lamela is also fit.

Pochettino has a decision to make with regards to which goalkeeper he goes with, meanwhile, as Paulo Gazzaniga tends to be used in cup competitions but Hugo Lloris was given the night off in midweek.
