Preview: Partizan vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tottenham's trip to Serbia to face Partizan in the Europa League.

Tottenham Hotspur start their Europa League group campaign on Thursday night when they travel to Serbia to face Partizan.

Mauricio Pochettino's side saw off Cypriot outfit AEL Limassol 5-1 on aggregate in qualifying to book their place in Group C of the competition.

Spurs have begun the new Premier League season in positive fashion, taking seven points from a possible 12 so far. Their last outing came on Saturday with a 2-2 draw at Sunderland.

Meanwhile, Partizan are currently at the top of their domestic league with a perfect record of five wins out of five.

The Serbians, who are managed by Marko Nikolic, dropped down to the Europa League after suffering a shock defeat to Ludogorets Razgrad in Champions League qualifying.

Jan Vertonghen is expected to miss out for the visitors after sitting out their draw away to Sunderland with a thigh injury, while Roberto Soldado and Kyle Walker remain sidelined.
