Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bayern Munich

Spurs injury, suspension list vs. Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Bayern Munich on Tuesday for Jose Mourinho's first away game in the Champions League since becoming the club's new manager.

The North London club are already guaranteed to qualify for the knockouts along with Bayern, who are confirmed as group winners.

Mourinho's men will be hoping to build on what was an excellent performance to demolish Burnley 5-0 on Saturday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out Type of injury: Elbow Possible return date: Unknown

The captain remains some way away from fully recovering from elbow surgery following a ligament fracture sustained in October against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Erik Lamela

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Thigh Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

Mourinho confirmed a couple of weeks ago that Lamela was continuing his rehabilitation for a thigh injury and the Argentine is expected to make a return over the next week at some point.

Michel Vorm

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Calf Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

The reserve keeper continues to battle with a calf strain but is not expected to be out for too much longer. It remains to be seen as to when exactly he could return.

Ben Davies

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Having suffered a nasty ankle injury against West Ham United last month, the full-back is not set to make a return until next year.

Harry Winks

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

Winks suffered an ankle problem against Burnley and is still being assessed, although the knock is not thought to be serious.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Major doubt Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: December 11 (vs. Bayern Munich)

Ndombele suffered a groin problem ahead of the meeting with Burnley, which is thought to be slightly more serious, although the player is still being assessed with regard to the full extent of the injury.
