Southampton striker Ryan Seager has been rewarded for his form during February with the inaugural Premier League Under-21 Player of the Month award.
To coincide with the accolades handed out to the stand-out player and manager each month, the Premier League have created an award to acknowledge players for their performances in their Under-21 division.
After making his first Premier League appearance at the start of the month, Seager has netted several goals in Under-21 league and cup matches to top a shortlist put together based on performance statistics.
The winner was decided by a number of former players who are involved at that level of the game.
Earlier on Friday, it was announced that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane had picked up the Player of the Month award for February, with West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis being given the manager's trophy.
