Sheffield United manager Nigel Clough has admitted that he is interested in signing Derby County striker Connor Sammon, but has a number of targets in mind.
Clough said that a striker is his top priority in January and that he would be looking at back-up forwards from Championship sides to help the Blades in League One.
"We have made enquiries," he told Eurosport. "Many of the enquiries we've made want to get the weekend and the FA Cup games out of the way first.
"We have a long list of names and Conor Sammon is on that list. But the list is about 15 names long. In fact, any striker in the Championship that isn't currently in the starting XI - and who interests us - we will be making an enquiry."
United are currently 18th in League One.
