Sheffield United's Chris Morgan wants to be full-time manager

Morgan ready for full-time role

Sheffield United caretaker manager Chris Morgan has said that he would love to be a full-time boss.

The 35-year-old former defender has been in charge of the Blades since last week after David Weir as sacked.

"Of course, I would love to be a full-time manager," he told reporters at a press conference. "But I am still learning.

"I wanted to become a full-time manager in the summer but David came in, and we all supported him.

"I am always learning and one day I would like to be a full-time manager."

Morgan was in charge of United between April and June this year following the departure of manager Danny Wilson.
