Scunthorpe United have signed Hull City defender Andy Dawson on a one-year deal.
The 34-year-old has agreed to take up a player-coach role at Glanford Park.
He joined the Tigers from Scunthorpe in 2003 and went on to make 317 appearances for the club.
Dawson, who began his career with Nottingham Forest, played just seven times for Hull last season.
