Scunthorpe United confirm Gary McSheffrey stay

Gary McSheffrey has signed a new one-year contract with Scunthorpe United.

The 32-year-old's future at Glanford Park had been in doubt due to the fact that his previous deal would expire at the end of the month.

However, the former Coventry City and Birmingham City midfielder has now committed himself to his League One employers for the 2015-16 campaign.

McSheffrey made 50 appearances in all competitions last season, from which he scored 10 goals.
