Report: Scunthorpe United in talks with Mark Robins over manager's job

Report: Robins in Scunthorpe talks

Scunthorpe United are reportedly in advanced talks with Mark Robins about becoming the club's new manager.

The League One side are hunting for a new boss after sacking Russ Wilcox earlier this week.

According to Sky Sports News, Scunthorpe have identified Robins, who was dismissed by Huddersfield after the first round of Championship games this season, as their top target.

Robins has had previous stints managing Rotherham United, Barnsley and Coventry City.
